Heavy playing with video

Ive finally got round to getting my own digital SLR. As much as I love using film this makes life in the studio so much easier In terms of documenting and capturing images that don’t necessarily need to be on film.

Spent this afternoon with my Gran and used some of the time to test out the video on this Canon 550D. Cant get over the quality and depth of field you can get from the standard lens. Im new to video but have always been interested to try and use it in a sculpture. who knows, I am just testing the water. Anyway heres some stills of the video. Just putting a wee edit together at the moment. This is all new to me!
